SB. Kevin Costner makes rare appearance with children in Cannes

Kevin Costner was among numerous stars appearing on the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet this past week.

Though, amidst all of his divorce drama, the Dances With Wolves actor, 69, was able to have a memorable family outing as he brought his children to the southern French resort town for the screening of his new film, Horizon: An American Saga.

This special occasion saw five of his seven children walking the red carpet with him, showing their unwavering support. Annie, 40, Lily, 37, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13, all looked stunning.

The event held even more significance as Kevin’s son Hayes had a role in the film, making the family’s presence all the more fitting for this “family business” moment.

From his marriage to Christine Baumgartner – which ended in an acrimonious and highly publicized divorce that was finalized in February this year – Kevin has three children: Cayden, Hayes, and Grace. The film Horizon: An American Saga was a resounding success, earning a seven-minute standing ovation at its screening, as per BBC. The movie tells the compelling story of the American West, set against the backdrop of the Civil War, and is apparently the first chapter in a two-part saga.

The day following the premiere, Kevin Costner was honored with France’s prestigious Order of Arts and Letters, awarded by the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, according to Deadline. This accolade recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts.
